Stored procedures
Reads a task in the task list of a Lotus Notes or Outlook messaging. To be read, this task must have been previously read (TaskLast, TaskPrevious, TaskFirst or TaskNext), added (TaskAdd) or modified (TaskModify).
Caution: This function cannot be used to read a task in the task list of an Outlook Express messaging.
Example
// Start a Lotus Notes session
SessionID is int

Syntax
<Result> = TaskRead(<Session identifier> , <Task identifier>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the task was read,
  • False otherwise. To get more details on the error, use ErrorInfo.
<Session identifier>: Integer
Session ID to be used. This identifier is returned by one of the following functions: EmailStartNotesSession, EmailStartOutlookSession, NotesOpenDatabase or OutlookStartSession.
<Task identifier>: Character string
Identifier of the task to read. This identifier is found in the mTask.ID variable.
Remarks

Current task

The mTask.Out variable is used to find out whether a current task exists.
